Is he wearing a type 04 dress uniform? I mean the guy doing the inspection’s tunic is clearly an older style. The collar is closed no lapels the chest pockets and length combined with the belt it looks more like a tunic style than the suit style 07. View attachment 81731View attachment 81730

Not if you've ever been in any kind of military academy it isn't! Also the guy in glasses looks like a sack of *youknowwhat* so unsurprising if the drill instructor made him double around the parade ground for a while.

military academies are not just for cadets. there are higher level staff officer schools or command schools. i just didnt expect the chinese to have officers form up like this i guess its not a bad thing.

looks like they are getting an inspection but in a hurry as there are clearly a few in the ranks who arent ready.

its funny that by just looking at their faces you can easily tell some of them are combat-arms.

Yep, it looks a little too visible, but it is a small stripe.

They look too visible, albeit this is from very up close. The shade of blue is very similar to the UN blue, which is meant to be visible.
