Compared with J-10 this actually has happened a lot sooner.

One interesting tidbit from the video that I neglected to highlight:

The four J-20s doing “elephant walk” participated in 2 vs 2 free style aerial combat exercise. Combat started off in BVR and as many as 8 Gs were pulled during the hour long confrontation.

The nozzle looks like it is pointing down.

It isn't pointing down.
The nozzle on the right is slightly contracted, the nozzle on the right is slightly dilated.
But they're the same nozzle, and don't look anything like any TVC nozzle we've seen before.

More importantly, the idea that they would put a TVC nozzle on an in service aircraft without anyone else noticing is immensely immensely unlikely.

And of course, the appearance of both nozzles look just like the standard WS-10 nozzles we all know of.

It's not TVC, it's just a standard WS-10 nozzle.
