Yeah warm tea with honey is also good to smooth strep throat out a bit.
When I don't have honey I use plain sugar. It does not work as well but seems better than no sugar.
Honey has better antibacterial effect but sugar does a similar trick.
Tea has some antiviral properties I think.

@SteelBird bro an advise, start stockpiling Leng Hua CTM, antibiotics and cough medicine, Yesterday we had reach 26,980 cases the highest we ever recorded and it may not be the last, as 70% of those infected are in Metro Manila. There are long queues in the medicine store, people are lining up to buy the basic cough medicine as they are getting infected by severe sore throat infection. I have one to and seek medical advise, my doctor friend told me to take an antibiotic and as a save measure I also took Leng Hua, just like what happen to your father within 3 days I'm fine.
@ansy1968 sorry to hear about your condition bro. Do you think by any chance you have contracted the omicron variant? Or is your case just your run on the mill flu/colds etc..As I have stated on my earlier posts I too got sick again for the 2nd time to what most of us believed to be the omicron variant. It's just for this 2nd time bout, I couldn't be tested since I couldn't find any testing centre free enough to test individuals like myself which is mind blowingly hilarious and stupid.

Thankfully, this time around isn't exactly the same symptoms I felt from the 1st time I had covid-19. My first brushed with Covid-19, I lost my sense of taste, smell, and was drained for almost 2 months. Whereas, this time around I was comfortably okay with a slight fever, lost voice, coughing...I just took Buckleys syrup whose moniker is "It tastes Awful But it Works."

Thanks for your suggestion brother, however, we have plenty of stock of Lian Hua Qingwen Jiaonang and there are plenty of them available for purchase on market. Don't worry! Should there be no lockdown, there shouldn't be a problem.

@Bellum_Romanum bro It is rather confusing, I test Negative (last Saturday) BUT my eldest daughter test Positive (today), I stayed at home while she drive for work, maybe she got it from her office. I've been tracking our previous activity and try to pinpoint the possible date of infection. One is the family lunch in Dec 31 in a Japanese restaurant, the other is from our domestic help which come to our condo unit everyday to clean and wash our laundry from 7 -10 am. With scant info and the nonchalant attitude of everyone involved, I think the possibility of Omicron circulating here is a fact before XMAS and it came courtesy of Gwyneth Chua.

Bro I've had consulted with my doctor friend and he told me " DON'T GO TO THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT" and issued me a prescription for an antibiotics and what he said is very shocking, he said that Omicron is here to stay and it will become one of many common flu illness. Brother I have the same symptoms as yours and it is very uncomfortable especially the coughing part, it is very painful.

I don't remember if I posted this before; however, just post it again. This is the medicine we used to treat Covid-19 cases in our company. If anyone needs it, just copy it. These medicines should be easily found at any pharmacy.

Yeah that looks good. You have a corticosteroid in there (Medixon) to reduce inflamation. You also have 1000mg paracetamol to reduce fever and pain. Zinc can also help boost defenses. I can't identify the medications on the lower left and right though. Corticosteroids are in the official treatment guideline for people with breathing trouble with COVID-19.

A lot of people also need to take Vitamin D but this might be less important in tropical climates where people have lots of sun exposure I guess. You should still take it if you spend most of your time indoors and don't get enough solar exposure to have a decent Vitamin D level.

As cases in our company have all recovered, I don't buy that medicine anymore. So far I can remember the lower left one (capsule in blue/white) is to protect stomach. You take it 30min before meal. I don't remember what is the lower right one.
