I believe this perspective is incorrect. In my opinion, Putin is hinting to the Chinese to use their economic might to cripple Taiwan and its benefactors. If you are starving and have no means to get food, no matter how much pride you have, you ultimately have to beg. Using the military to reunify Taiwan should be the very last option after ALL of the others are used up.
I believe that while China should be prepared to use the military, it should be when there is an out right succesion happening and their is no other option. That I am sure Putin can easily understand because the USA is forcing this one but really, it would be correct to use the economic option first because this one is the less destructive (in terms of human lives that is) and it is ultimately doing a good job in convince an increasing amount of Taiwanese that the leadership is simply incompetent. It is better to maintain China’s current trajectory as what Putin is hinting at but at the same time, when push comes to shove, the military should always be on stand by regardless and also note that what is said on camera isn’t necessarily the complete story, after all Putin and Xi are on regular talks given how often they are attacked by the west so often right now, they are coordinating their efforts to handle both fronts. In the end Putin is simply reminding China not to be reckless, but then again China already knows this. What’s more, this should be a fore shadowing in regards to the method that China is right now using to bring down the USA but then again since when did the west ever take Putin seriously until it is too late. Right now Russia and China are positioning themselves in a manner that the west have to rely on them for Gas/energy and goods and resource respectively to the extent that either nation suddenly cutting off both at the right time (again this is an extreme option when no other cards be played) will devastate the western world so much that they will consider turn on one another due to desperation. Out of all the nations right now, only China and Russia are coordinating themselves to face the new world while the collective west are currently unravelling at a breakneck pace so really their is no point (provided there are no surprises) to break the current trend on Russia’s and China’s end unless the USA really goes to war which really is becoming a possibility the more mistakes that the leadership makes (this whole year is becoming a train wreck for America with no bright spots available) then China and Russia should team up to crush them hard so they can finally be free of this global menace that has plagued them both for centuries.

Instead of spending money to help Africans, the US would rather give lots of money to African media and reporters to write sensational negative news on Chinese investments. Hope there will be more such exposure stories.

Edit:
One notable comment in the Youtube:
I traveled to Kenya, and I noticed my YouTube recommendations started to show anti-China videos. I noticed this back in 2008. One in particular, which I believe YouTube likely manipulated the algorithm to make it viral was tgat of a young Chinese man calling the president of Kenya a monkey. This was suddenly being discussed everywhere, even being brought up in a top panel discussion of subject relating to China's investment in Africa. Ask yourself, how can such comment made by a young Chinese citizen not even working for the Chinese government go viral like that? When there are actually more racist comments or actions carried out by the governments of western countries that is not even discussed or that go viral. African governments should be very wary of these western platforms, they are the modern Trojan horse.

If ppl in Kenya are stupid enough to equate an offhand comment by a Chinese man with that of the centuries of rape and plunder by the whites, then they deserve to live in abject poverty.
China rises no matter what happens in the outside world because China’s future is in Chinese hands; pity that the same cannot be said if other countries.

Good that this was posted, applause! :D

This is absolutely pathetic.

China is building infrastructure and making loans to African countries all along the BRI initiative, and this is how the west competes?

The west will not build infrastructure in Africa, but they would rather resort to FUD - fear, uncertainty and doubt, as a method to compete with China.

Maybe pathetic is not even the word here. Hopeless is more like it.

We do not even know how big is the BRI because it has gotten so big.

So this FUD campaign is gonna turn back the BRI and see projects cancelled left right and center?

Absolutely! That is what Santa Claus told me just 5 minutes ago.

I always believe in Santa!

This is the thing here.

At some point, one must become serious and do your job.

China does its job.

If someone out there, believes in this FUD campaign from the west is true, then they are not doing their job.

That is work, and that is development. You do your job.

If you do your job, and are working with someone who does their job, then the work gets complete.

If you do your job, and are working with someone who does not do their job because they are lazy, or listen to FUD radio station, then nothing will get completed because why would China do all the work for you?

A country that seeks development, someone must do their job.

To do your job, it is a matter of going work. That means this is an economic matter at its core.

FUD - that is a political campaign.

That is why the west is losing ground to China.

In a gun fight, they bring a knife.

In a development infrastructure fight, China brings engineers, the west brings mouthpieces of FUD.

The political beliefs that the west holds dear, is precisely inadequate to be used against China, in fact it is what makes them lose.

Look at the US government fight against Huawei 5G. The Chinese company builds networks to push forward the telecom industry. The United States it is all about sanctions and lawyers. If you want to win at 5G, you bring out the big guns, the engineering people, not the lawyer people.

The only people in this world who would object this rant, are the people who took social sciences or arts in school, except economics and of course STEM people.

We are subjected to too much bs from non-STEM people!

Bring that knife to the gun fight!

Bring it on! As Dubya once said.

 :D

All that money and the USA still cannot afford to provide gas to its population despite having 'so much money' and being able to 'spend trillions of the military'. Well the USA as a nation deserves its final ending if that is the case and any nation that tries to follow in the stupidity can simply die along with them to save everyone the trouble.
As many problems that Australia has (and their are many given my utter hatred for Scomo), but gas isn't one of those problems and for once, I am thankful we have enough to help ourselves but no where near enough to export to the USA to save their sorry ass in the immediate future where many of these people are most like going to die from the cold, a situation that Biden could have prevented if he has any cognitive ability in his sleepy head right now. Hoping this will help to accelerate the decline of the USA so many nations around the world can move away from this overly ungrateful bunch of parasites that always take and take and take but give literally nothing back and really, they are asking for this ending for a very long time.

This is great to bring up and expose but I find it disheartening that china doesn't have a stronger media and propaganda presence internationally.

Even with Facebook being exposed for promoting fake news and hate, other countries are not banning Facebook or investigating them. If Facebook was a Chinese company, they would have been calls to boycott and ban it already.

China can and should continue to with such investment but needs to find a way to fight back better against this propaganda from the US. Try to fight fire with fire, train some journalists to write negative things about the US or pro china messages?

I feel china should have more English media news and try to proliferate them, so it's like the US where there are so many different publications and then try to make it into an echo chamber. Not sure if it would work well but it's something.

Look, at the end of the day, you are NOT going to post on Facebook what FB doesn't want you to post. Likewise, you are NOT going to post on Youtube or Twitter what those platforms don't want you to post.

As long as those companies have a near monopoly over social media in the global sphere, China is not going to be able to defeat the Western narrative.

Therefore, the only effective and realistic way for China to defeat the Western narrative is to come up with its own media platform with a global reach.

Stop looking at content. Start looking at the platform.

When Meghan Markle called-out the British Royal Family as racist, people were saying it was a turning point in the history of the royal family and a moment of reflection was going to take place. The only turn that happened was something called deflection.

The royals are in no position to criticize rich people and tell them what to do with their money. Then you have Prince Charles telling polluting countries should pay... Those that hide behind the environment know that's a safe bet. They can't cry human rights because they can't avoid looking at themselves. Yeah go concentrate on the environment where they ignored it themselves until China spewed out one particle more of pollution than the US did and then it was safe to point the finger... as they thought.

46 people died in the blaze. Lots of accident seem to be happening in Taiwan. One can see that it is a half abandoned building which is not fit for human habitation. Instead of buying expensive and useless weapon or paying money to US lobbyists, their leaders ought to improve housing conditions.
