This is a guy in youtube with interesting videos for people with little or no knowledge about semiconductors. I liked them because I know very little about chips and their manufacturing. So for the most part it will be useless for you folks. I do know, however, that there are a couple of people here who are also not technically savvy. So here we go. From there you can find other videos from the same chap

About Carl Zeis semiconductor optics:

Use of water in chip wafer manufacturing:

I like Asianometry. He posts detailed, but easy to understand content related especially to high tech manufacturing processes and companies, especially those in the fields of semiconductor and related industries.

@Wangxi So bro its a production issue not the XTACKING tech with the local equipment being used and optimized, I'M excited on what will come next especially the 192-layers.

the trade war with the United States and Washington’s tech curbs exposed China’s lack of hi-tech know-how, hardening Beijing’s resolve to speed up innovation.

“Rising external pressure since the start of trade war has made policymakers more determined to develop China’s middle and high-end manufacturing,”

There is a group of individuals who control the national security industrial complex, graduates of human sciences or lawyers who do not have technical knowledge of the industries they speak of nor do they know the dynamics that occur in those industries and for some reason they control the narrative about the Chinese semiconductor industry in the States.
There is historical evidence of the damage that these export controls have done to different technology sectors in the United States. This is the case of how the United States lost its leadership in numerical control machines and I personally know the experience of 3dr, a company that manufactured consumer drones whose products ended up on the ITAR list for a time, while DJI could sell to the whole world, guess who dominates the industry.
Imagine that apple smartphones could only be sold in 15 countries approved by the United States. It doesn't matter how good or technologically advanced your product is, if I can't get it, it's useless.

I don't like QLC, not now anyway. TLC is the way to go for me for now

Soon we will see 256 layers and then 384 and 512 layers ... I can't imagine, how complex would be, the same way I was amased when it was only 32 layers by Samsung

1M wafers per month, it means 12M wafers per year .. that just a lot for 1 company, 1 12" wafers can have thousands chip, perhaps a few hundreds for complex CPU
