He has unleashed a disaster. He IS the president. Who hired all these people? Biden.

If 1 or even 2 people make a huge mistake you can say its their incompetence. What does it mean that ALL the relevant departments and their people made such a big mistake? It means that who ever hired the people on top is at fault.

Italian evacuation plane comes under fire as it takes off from Kabul – reports

An Italian Air Force plane, being utilized as part of the evacuation effort, has come under fire as it took off from Kabul airport, according to a Sky TG24 journalist onboard the aircraft. No injuries have been reported.

On Thursday, an Italian Air Force C-130J Super Hercules came under machine-gun fire as it took off from Hamid Karzai airport in the Afghan capital of Kabul. A Sky TG 24 journalist who was onboard the aircraft said that barrage did not hit the aircraft, but the pilot was forced to take evasive action.

However if he comes out and say "No, we will complete the evacuation" and another bomb attack happens killing more US troops then... he will be in deep poo poo

Crazy prediction : Austin fired/resigns and some Indopacom alumni like Harry Harris will be the new Sec Def. Under the guise of renewing focus in Pacific or something like that. I even believe even if the withdrawal and evacuation is as smooth as silk, he'd replaced as well. Same reasoning.
