I don't know if was posted in here but I saw an article that said the US was trying to negotiate with the Taliban not to destroy its embassy. After the last week the US said it was sending in bombers and gunships to hold off the Taliban advance? I assume they fired and dropped bombs on the Taliban during the process.

Man, wouldn't it be something if the Taliban demanded money in exchange for leaving the US embassy alone? It would be hilarious to see the US just get straight up extorted like that!:D
