That is why the old American strategy of trying to play mind games and poker bluffs are no longer viable against China, because it has already shown China its cards to be inferior, so there isn’t a now zero chance of them being able to get into Chinese leaders’ heads to win a bluff.
Yeah, exactly.
The Americans are still stuck on the concept of Western supremacy or white supremacy in how they approach their relations with China.
That will only work when there is actual supremacy.
Otherwise, it is just a lot of noise, probably design to fool the people or the domestic audience.
Case in point, the latest sanctions against Xinjiang companies. No one really has heard of any of these companies, and it is uncertain if they have much business dealings with America.
This is a mistake. Besides the CCP, everyone else in the world will think the Americans are weak.
But that is America right now. They are declining, but that is not the worst part. The worst part is they are rudderless. Without a coherent strategy, having no rudder means the gunship cannot be steered, to stem the decline and turn things back up. So if drifts lower and lower.
One guy said that China pays the tariffs, which is nutz. The next guy for reasons that only makes sense to them, wholeheartedly repeats the same failed policy and pretends it is working because they are being tough on China.
It's all fake news!
