At the group study session, Xi stressed the need to have a profound understanding of how important and necessary it is to improve the country's international communication, and to develop a voice in international discourse that matches China's comprehensive national strength and international status.

Xi's remarks show that China is making a top-level design on building its own narrative and would encourage more people from society to take part in the communication with the outside world, said Steven Dong, professor and dean of the School of Government and Public Affairs under the Communication University of China, noting that new institutions or mechanism may occur to promote the work.

Xi called for using new concepts, domains and expressions to better tell China's stories and the spiritual strength behind the stories.

On CPC's publicity, Xi urged greater efforts to help foreign audiences understand what the Party is pursuing is nothing but the Chinese people's well-being.

Xi also emphasized the efforts to introduce the Chinese culture abroad and strive to shape a reliable, admirable and respectable image of China.

China has finally understood that soft power is important

Is this a joke? Did the Chinese really believe that? Facepalm...
China is not interested in becoming a hegemony, so it has no clear plan to form a media hegemony to compete with the West, and it used to believe as long as China keeps a low profile and being peaceful, and has win-win cooperation with the West, then the West will be friendly to China, but the facts prove that this kind of thinking was naive, Zheng said.

Lol

Lol again

IMO smart move by the West. China had left an obvious opening on "Green" projects and the West exploited this opportunity.

This will also help the West find markets for their own Green Industries, very smart.
The only thing is, where is the money?..
Another thing is also, we have a pandemic and a lack of Asian (Chinese) expertise willing to invest in a bunch of nations that mean them harm so really, this is all Brough and no beans. Then can promise trillions in new investment and still yeild no results expect more people yelling at the government and elite living in estates while the people go collectively insane and eventually decide the tear the system down.
One nasty side benefit of this is that the devastation in these nations will be future opportunity for the nations that remain and hopefully the world will learn never to follow western ideology ever again due to there elites only caring about greed and hence the world will be better of it these people are collectively hunted down for good

One thing I would like to know is whether blacks really are committing a disproportionate percentage of racist hate crimes against Asians, or if it’s only the attacks perpetrated by blacks that gets promoted by western social media companies to cause them to go viral, while similar videos of racists attacks by whites either get hard censored and deleted or soft censored and never recommended to anyone.

It looks like he's got mental issues or his fxxxing liar. "She hits me" he claimed! Lol

Bro, it's cultural most Asians are like that based on my own set of experiences and observations from other Asians (Filipinos, Koreans, Japanese) that I studied with, work with in Canada and elsewhere. We're supposed to let our work/results do the talking and we'll get recognized, noticed by our peers and bosses and finally be promoted or elevated in positions of greater responsibility. But obviously in the western dominated world and culture this approach can't and will not endear anyone to greener pastures or opportunities. This trait of passivity is one of the key reasons why Indians outcompete Asians (Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese etc.) in getting ahead or promoted at various North American companies.
