Oh Lithuania joining in.

According to Šakalienė, special hearings will be held in the Lithuanian parliament on April 22, where international experts and relatives of imprisoned people will talk about the repressions in Xinjiang.

“The parliaments of several countries will work together to make it very clear: we will not be intimidated. These are the fundamental values of the EU and we will defend them unanimously,” said Šakalienė.
Meh grandstanding. As long as trade continues, let them whine about "human rights" all they want while China gets stronger year by year

Better to have other countries "slandering you" than having serious economic restrictions.

The fact is the left sets it up and the right bats away. The right doesn't care about human rights. They will be the first to violate human rights. They have to spin their racism in the guise of human rights in order to get support from the left. The left wants to make what they demand not about them but beyond them to make force and guilt people into doing what they demand. It's the good cop/bad cop routine. They're both actually working together on the same self-serving agenda. That's why they think in black and white because that's how the control the narrative. Pay no mind that the two opposing sides are both controlled by white/Western people yet we're suppose to believe the two cover all the universe of thought so when they agree, it must be the correct course of action and people must blindly follow without question or challenge.

Charles Barkley is getting praise for this comment he made recently.

The talking heads in the media are emphasizing how the one issue that both Republicans and Democrats can agree on is their anti-China positions as if again the universe is coming together so therefore all the universe must stop China. They make it so epic yet it's as simple as both Republicans and Democrats hate China because China's rise exposes their failures to keep the US number one which is one of the highest priorities to Americans. Their policies have failed. They serve only the rich and makes laws that favor them. They allow outsourcing because it make the elites in the US make more money from exploiting cheap labor overseas. They lie that the US is being flooded with Chinese products. Just because it says "Made in China" it doesn't mean profited by China. It's the products of American elites that they protect. They know it and to cover it up they have to focus American anger and blame China. That way they don't have to change anything from what they were doing before and can still be in bed with the elites and be rewarded from that corruption later. These politicians can easily stop it but that would mean the elites they're in bed with won't be making money. The whole China is cheating the world trade system is all about making sure their citizen that vote don't blame them and vote them out of office. They can't do anything when China is cheating...

So who is ultimately behind anti-Asian violence...?

NYT acknowledging that Chinese youth are more nationalist than their older generation . They're proud of their Chinese identity and are always looking for local alternatives. The going will get tougher for Western brands and even more for those who are playing politics.

the brands. Celebrities dropped their endorsement deals.

The author of the article who happens to be of Chinese descent is unfortunately pushing the Evil CCP narrative regarding the Uyghur situation in Xinjiang. And the above paragraph or sentence was written as a matter of fact rather than typing it down as "alleged repression" since there's no actual evidence to prove this idiot's baseless allegations. What a sad monster to be writing such a blatant lie.

Why don't we ask the Danish, the Swedish how much they "love" their Muslim Syrian refugees and other Muslim immigrants living in their countries. The Danish government is offering money or deportation for Syrians that have settled in Denmark to accept the offer or else. People in these part of the world are beyond hypocritical it's actually infuriating not to mention these morons are beyond delusional in their grandstanding screaming about "Human Rights" and all that jazz when the actual majority of their populations are against the very people they claim to support and love.
