It may not have anything to do with US, but rather Israel's own idea to redirect Muslim anger at China to reduce pressure on themselves.
There's definitely something there because out of the blue China announces they will be holding peace talk between Israel and Palestine. There must be reason behind it.
It's the Iran deal.
China does not want anyone pulling shit, which is what they all do in that neighbourhood. Also, China probably does not want anyone to be too powerful, then they would starting pulling shit.
Everyone is a known shit disturber over there.
This is how it should work.
China invites both Palestinians and Israelis to China for peace talks. Does not matter what they talk about, they can talk about the agenda for the next round.
China pays the Palestinians to show up, essentially a free trip. Since they flat out broke as a joke, they will accept the invitation. If Israel does not show up, then world opinion is against it.
That way they give peace a chance, and no one stirs the shit up.
Israel made peace with a couple of Arab nations. This is not impossible.
