They should ramp up vaccination in China and also speed up the development of mRNA vaccines. These would enhance internal circulation of the economy.

Antibodies triggered by two COVID-19 vaccine products from Sinopharm both have “pretty good” neutralising effect on variants found in Britain and South Africa as well as a few others, Zhang told a news conference, citing results from lab tests using blood samples taken from clinical trial participants.

I think China could aim to be a mRNA leader, given that:

1. It is a new field globally
2. Lower R&D costs in China
3. Faster R&D in China
4. mRNA treatments will provide reserve capacity for future mRNA vaccines

Before June, China vaccinations may peak at 15 million per day
That implies production capacity of:

450 million doses per month
5400 million doses per year

Given this amount of production capacity and zero cases, China could continue with large scale vaccine exports in the next few months.

On a separate note, I also noticed that Serum Institute of India is looking to build a new factory with a capacity of 1000 million doses for $400 million. That is dirt cheap compared to the economic costs of the pandemic.

"CanSino Biologics could produce 2 billion to 2.5 billion doses at full capacity this year." This can't be right, but if it is, it would be a massive development since its a single shot vaccine.

From what I can see, it looks like Sinopharm vaccine production targets have been revised downwards, but this has been replaced with Cansino.

Astrazeneca is also adenovirus based, and it looks like 2+ billion doses this year.
The Johnson and Johnson single-shot vaccine is targeting 1+ billion

So Cansino at 2+ billion doesn't appear excessive.
