Maybe the CCP shouldn't have asked Wechat to delete the Auz Prime Minister's message. Like if you want to resolve a situation diplomatically, censoring your counterpart isn't a solution.

Imagine if Chinese diplomats took to Twitter to criticise Trump or the US, and Twitter then deleted their messages. Chinese netizens would start burning the internet down with accusations that Twitter was censoring the views of Chinese people.

Its obvious the US is the one who wanted to force wechat and tiktok to sell to American companies while Trump gets a cut of the pie for signing those two executive orders... and somehow China's wechat is to blame for Australia militarizing hypersonic weapons but no no no China should stay at 300 nukes forever and accept the "olive branch"???

You are aware that sort of censorship happens all the time already? Heaps of youtube channels I follow get demonetised immediately after posting video and I regularly get unsubscribed to them for no reason.

When it comes to Chinese videos youtube content monitoring people are Taiwan based, with predictable result.

Umm, i am bit confused. You are putting "imagine what would be" in front of people who has never done it & telling others no to censor something from the counterpart who has long history of censoring.

Trump and his acolytes like Pompeo et al consider a race war to be the only thing that will save the US, which is itself on the brink of revolution or civil war.

Problem is I dont think it will work, at best US drags everyone down, but there will be no winners and it wont Make America Great Again
