I guess MrCrazyBoyRavi wouldn't be a fan of how the IMTV looks either lol

The new PLA medic vest looks like it'll function just fine in protecting the wearer. I'm just concerned on how practical the stretcher function is and whether they're gonna bother to mass issue it. Also seems like a weird choice to develop and issue something like that specifically for medical units.

It might be the case that they didn't want them to get wet because an engagement was coming up as soon as they land, so there was little time to wipe them dry. That was going to be my guess, until I saw the footage of their maneuvers on land: they had the covers on throughout the exercise.

So, my final guess is that they never intended to use them, so they are under wraps for safe storage. Bummer. Could be that the mentality of scarcity still holds strong within PLA. Gotta baby the new kit, as opposed to using them as intended.
