This speaks volumn. It just goes to show the mind set of the Japanese. They never see it as a defeat by China in WW2. They only stop going for political reasons.

Once free of that yoke. Their true colour comes out.

Break sad news, US Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg just passed away today.

This may have a decisive impact on the upcoming US Presidential election, as being able to appoint a Supreme Court justice would be of enormous import to both parties, but I think this will help Trump much more than Bieden.

A lot of moderate Republicans who cannot find a reason to vote Trump now have their reason.
Is there any moderate Republicans left at this point?
I think this would be yet another can gasoline to be added to the fiery political polarisation of the United States.

I see this differently. Abe was pretty keen on visiting the shrine early in his career, but he hasn't done so in recent years.

This shows that he wants to visit the shrine but doesn't in order to not upset relations with China.

This is good as it shows the Japanese politicians, or Abe at least, want to maintain good relations with China.

As a private citizen, what Abe does is his business.

Hi hullopilllw,

Sour graping, the western media had no shame at all, knowing they are behind and trying to destroy others credibility to cover up their incompetence. Instead of cooperation in this time of crisis , they still parroting their western superiority, I hate to say this cause we are all human being but they deserve to suffer.

For some reason the Czech Republic has gone full-out anti-China nowadays:

The Czech Republic and many former eastern block countries are American lapdogs worse than the dearly departed British (that is why the US was so happy about Brexit, it weakened the EU, a key competitor and potential rival, but they still got votes left in the EU to make sure American interests are looked after). When America shows its intent, they fall in line neat as you please, with no shortage of sycophants dream ing up ways to kiss up to their American masters.

China should remember that and limit investment in those countries with its BRI, and make them the new ‘flyover mood states where they get to watch trains zoom past but not enjoy any of the economic benefits. Chinese diplomacy desperately needs some teeth to make small weak ass countries think twice about spitting in China’s face to kiss up to others. They need to learn that doing so carries real and long term costs.

The EU had a report that called the Czech Republic the most racist country in Europe so if true not surprise by their actions. I also remember reading years ago that former Eastern block countries while they abandoned communism, they were upset China did not and their economy was rising. What China has they think belonged to them. They think the West has that power. Again there's this bargain the West made that if you follow them, you're suppose to get more from the world than those that do not. Is that an international law? No it's a deal with the devil but the devil is not able to keep it's end of the bargain. That's the theme of countries and people who think they deserve more than China. They think it should be automatic and handed over to them. They don't have to work for it. When Jair Bolsonaro was running for President of Brazil, one of the big soybeans producers who was one of his supporters was upset because he believed Brazil is suppose to be where China at. Is that China's fault? No it's another theme of that that whine about China. Nothing is ever their fault and they go blaming others. That's the testament to China that in this anti-China environment, it's at number two most powerful in the world and got number one looking over their shoulder.
