The 25 yrs alliance with Iran and i believe there will an upcoming first time military station at gilgit Baltistan Pakistan watching over CPEC and Wakan corridior. See the connection there with iran?
I believe South China Sea will become less important.

There is no alliance with iran. Just theatrical...

One thing i notice is US really gets into China 's face without a modicrum of respect unlike the Soviet time. Maybe China military is not up to par and unable to earn respect from US side or it has something to do with racially.

Soviet US cold war lasted more than 40 years. China would be lucky if lasted this long and if it does , it probably going to win.
The Soviets were much more verbally-aggressive than the Americans during the Cold War. Aggression is driven by desperation and anxiety for an unwinnable future.

Soviets were aggressive because they felt they could match whatever US has.
Aggression is driven by desperation and anxiety for an unwinnable future. it's not always true.
Nazi was pretty aggressive toward Europe during on set of WWII.
Japan was pretty aggressive toward occupation of China.
They were aggressive because they felt prizes within their grasp.

There is no chance of that happening unless the U.S. carries out direct attacks against Chinese Islands.
no chance?
China might still wary of invading taiwan directly as the cost maybe still high at this point but a outpost guarding by some taiwanese soldiers and with no civilians?

OK, for the Nazi and Japanese part, you are right (for the most part but I'd like to add that both Japanese and Nazis were in need of resources and unhappy with their situations, causing them to instigate war), but for the Soviets, they felt their economic decline and were frustrated seeing America grow and develop while they were doing everything they can just to hold themselves together. Towards the end, the Soviets were very nasty and aggressive while the US was very reserved because for America, the goal was to sit it out and wait for the victory without accidentally triggering a nuclear war that would foul everything up to say the least. That draws a lot of parallels to today, made even more painfully obvious to the Americans by COVID. They are desperate to reverse the trend of China growing and developing faster than the US and know that if they just waited it out, it would be defeat for them.

In words, America is getting nastier and more aggressive, like the Soviets, but in action, they have stayed away from military confrontation with the Chinese, just like the Soviets did with America, and very much opposite to what Japan and Germany did when they behaved aggressively due to perceived weakness on the opposing side.

Soviets felt superior over US with first Sputnik satellite and created the sputnik moment for US trying to catch up.
At that moment do you really think Soviet felt desperation and anxiety for an unwinnable future.

Soviet felt they were superior over US with launch of spuknik and made US play catch up. Soviets were the most aggressive at that time. But later on they felt behind. So the reasoning of Soviets aggressive because they felt desperate is not true.

Also now US forced countries to take side and made them drop huawei contracts. So in the future whatever technology products China has on its own has very little upside of selling. Majority of that would be in China domestic market.
US has a strangle hold on many countries therefore the prospect of China become very powerful as time goes by is debatable. Its upside has already been severely capped by US.

I don't buy that, especially since much of that sort of news comes from media outlets aligned with US interests, the actual state of affairs is a very different state than what the US MSM is reporting.

Soviet economy was 10% of America's and the economy is the base for the military. You cannot be superior in military and tech without an at least competitive economy. I feel that the Soviets were creating a veneer of confidence through their aggression (and you bought that veneer) but inside, they knew that the things they did were just trophy projects without the ability to actually change the landscape of competition between the two powers. I maintain that they were aggressive in words, but not in actual military instigation (just like the US today) because they felt helpless and the need to lash out.

Also now US forced countries to take side and made them drop huawei contracts. So in the future whatever technology products China has on its own has very little upside of selling. Majority of that would be in China domestic market.

Even with America's ban, Huawei remains the largest telecom company worldwide with the greatest number of 5G contracts, 5G devices sold, and overall phones sold. On top of this, it's becoming clearer every day that Chinese tech innovation has been positively spurred instead of depressed by America's attacks. These are Americas last cards to use and it is watching them play out with minimum or undesirable effect. As if that wasn't troubling enough, now America sees its economy reel from COVID while China's is already in strong recovery. This is what fuels American frustration, desperation, and ultimately, aggression.

When America was so strong, and China was weak, this is not how America behaved. It was diplomatic in rhetoric but its actions were effective. Today is a total reversal and it certainly is not because China became weaker in relation.
