^ Directly overland Taiwan isn't exactly international airspace...

If the US overflies it China should at least do the same, send a few GX's overhead

Concerning the One-China policy yes for sure, but you surely know what happens if the PLAAF downs a US military aircraft over Taiwan!

Cross-post from the UAV thread.

Blogger "草根设计师-CAD" hinted at a new attack UCAV aircraft (or some other type), with the following clues about its specifications:

总载弹量超过“利剑无人机”3倍;
飞行速度超过“翼龙无人机”3倍;
滞空时间超过“歼10战斗机”3倍;
隐蔽接敌超过“歼15/歼16”战机;
能满载高原机场加力起降;
能满载海岛机场短距起降;
能对空/对地/对海发起攻击;
能挂载“歼20和FC31”装不下的攻击武器;
高抗损,高出勤,高可维护性;
攻击还用不“隐轰”出马的敌方目标;

这样子的“攻击2035”,香不香?

Essential points (please help improve my translation and add if needed):
  • Its weapons load is over 3 times that of the "Sharp Sword" UAV
  • Its top speed is over 3 times that of the "Wing Loong" UAV
  • Its endurance is over 3 times that of the J-10
  • Its "stealth strike capabilities" (paraphrase - please improve translation!) exceed that of the J-15 and J-16
  • It can operate from high-altitude airfields
  • It has STOL capabilities and can operate from an "island airport" (code word for aircraft carrier?)
  • It can attack air/land/sea targets
  • It can mount weapons that the J-20 and FC-31 cannot otherwise carry
  • It has high resistance to damage, high operational availability (translation help!), and high serviceability
  • The last point needs translation - please provide if you can
The closing line says something to the effect of: "This "Attack 2035", isn't it nice?"

Any idea what the hell this could be?
I suspect it being an UAV only since a few references to the WL and GJ-11 are made.

Recall in May 2020 that pupu-2012 made the assertion that a "176" attack plane/UAV is being developed. Could this be the same thing?

Sounds like a hi component of the unmanned attack platform supplemented by something like the GJ-11. Carrier focused perhaps? Big enough to be multirole and catch up with fighters in performance. Enough room perhaps to justify many variants for the navy and airforce.

Still waiting for disclosure on the dark sword. Could this be one and the same? The leaked "full size" mockup of dark sword certainly looks like it might have those range and payload described.
