Can anyone with the proper translation clarify whether I understood the content of this tweet correctly?

•There will be at least two batches of 075 and the second batch will be an improved one (075A?).
•We might see the third of the class within 6 months which will conclude the first batch.
•The second batch will consist of two ships (at least we know of).

The second batch is to be expected all along.

075 needs to be batch produced in order to be really useful for its purpose. As I projected/advocated, 6 x 075s/LHDs are needed by 2025. That's the critical mass to be impactful for the kinds of scenarios that China is likely involved in the next decade or so. This ain't the time when the first 071 or 052C were produced when China was tentative and experimenting. And, one 071 costs about the same as one 054A, one 075 less than one 052D.

Of course, the real production schedule will depend on capacity, personnel training, any upgrades, etc. It may fluctuate somewhat.

What is the current status of naval Helicopter building for the PLAN then?

Well judging by recent report of component maker for Turbo shaft engine they planed for 450 WZ 10 engine in 2020 forward. So assuming 50 engine for spare and 2 engine for each of Z20 helicopter We are looking for 200 helicopter production run in years to come . Assuming production batches of 40 to 50 helicopter per years should be completed in 4 years . Some of them might be intended for the army. The type 75 will not enter service in 2years then come the shake down cruise for another year So it is about the right time .

Caveat this is wild guess

Zero or almost non existent

since 2011 we have seen a very outright ridiculous helicopters production

Z-18 transport 380 and 381 and only recently 382
Z-18J AEW 300 and 301
Z-18F ASW 331, 332 and 333
and maybe similar Z8CJ SAR versions

thats overall around 10 medium sized helicopters in a 10 year period or about 1 per year for 2 x Carriers, 8 x LPD and 2 x LHD

you can be ambitious and count the Z9D but you dont get many more points for that

and now I will wait to be quoted about 100 times trying to explain to me otherwise

I think, they are well prepared for mass production and they can build as much as they need in one year. They still do not need them at the moment.

At the moment they build things that need a long periode of time. Some day in the future they will start to build all the things that do not need long. The Chinese armed forces will then grow very quickly from mediocre to outstanding. This has the advantage that until then the suspicion of the world community is not directed towards China.
