Ya but who is buying that missile? Only the Chinese army. Who happens to be already sanctioned. if your a company , unless you want your only customers to be Iran, Noeth Korea, and Russia. Then by all means defy the US government.

The fact that they are building production line without american equipment show that they are willing to defy american ban Any attempt to halt Chinese tech progress will be doomed to failure. It might be possible 10 years ago . The west make a big mistake by allowing Chinese talent to study and worked in the west. Now it is too late to do anything

Write Ren Zhengfei more letters.

LOL, ren zhenfei has probably come to the same conclusion that I have. Guys, I was in denial once about this Huawei fiasco too. When they banned Huawei phones from Android. I switched to a Huawei phone and was so angry about it. But the truth is we need to be tactical with our approach. Huawei can survive, just not in the ways you guys are proposing.

So the Samsung news, if it’s true, is great news.

I have always had a hunch that American equipment isn’t irreplaceable. I believe those companies aren’t like ASML.

America’s strongest move of course would be to ban Huawei from the SWIFT network. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet.

Time is running out for Trump as well.

I wish that Samsung had kept this quiet from us though and not let the media know.

Write Ren Zhengfei more letters. Make sure you include your profile pic for extra credibility - nothing says "semiconductor expert" like a picture of a snitching mumble rapper.

Wow I'm flattered. Not a semiconductor expert. I learned a lot from WTAN and sky watcher.
