Well, not sure what benefit does Trump sees in this. China will only reciprocate, and the airline industry that's already on its knees will die on its knees.

The only principle a politician should have is how to best serve the interests of his people. Everything else is marginal.

Unfortunately, elections do not produce leaders these days, they produce ideological spokesmodels instead.
