"I highly suspect that Hong Kong rioters have infiltrated American states. Attacking police stations, smashing shops, blocking roads, breaking public facilities, these are all routine in their protests. Vicious HK rioters obviously are mastermind of violent protests across the US"

(Editor-in-chief of the Global Times)

We live in a world where the head of a "serious" Chinese newspaper thinks Hong Kong protesters are running around the planet starting or controlling civil unrest like some sort of Illuminati group.

Oh you mean like that time American media called molotov-throwing insurgents "peaceful protestors"?

Now that the shoe is on the other foot, you don't like it so much, huh?

Can you find me a Tweet where an American journalist identified a person throwing a molotov as peaceful? Also it's fair to say that a tiny minority of people in Hong Kong have thrown molotovs. If even half the number of protesters in Hong Kong had thrown them, the city would be a pile of ash right now.

Also, that has nothing to do with what Hu Xijin said. He has accused Hong Kong protesters of orchastrating the current civil unrest in the US. That would be like the Editor of the New York Times saying that Xi Jinping was behind the death of George Floyd. Neither statement would have any credibility. The fact that the Editor of the Global Times said it shows the lack of professionalism where he works.

I actually found it very funny, He tweeted a few sarcastic tweet about the Pelosi, Pompeo, Trump and HK Rioters showing how ridiculous their position and assertions are. Apologist also like to show false outrage over a clever tweet, do they?

He's just messing with likes of you and you fell for it.

Is this like when Trump claimed China didn't warn him about the coronavirus? You seriously have that short of a memory?

If you want examples, feel free to look through the 400 pages of this thread yourself.

If he was being sarcastic, he would have said China or the CCP was to blame for the US civil unrest "because they're always responsible when bad things happen" or something like that.

If a person makes a sarcastic post about HK protesters being behind something they're clearly not, it's criticising people who say they're behind everything. That's obviously not what he was doing.

No, we're talking about American journalists, who you implied said individual people with molotov cocktails were peaceful.

If you want examples, feel free to look through the 400 pages of this thread yourself.

I can't find any, you'll have to help me out.

Of course I wake up in the morning and Republicans are blaming China because the foreign ministry sent a tweet on the State Department's twitter account not saying nice things about the US... They also mentioned random African country Zimbabwe was behind it but not Russia of course.
