Key difference being Mao and Castro and all the others did that in the OWN countries.

Patriots have never shied away from fighting, and if needed, dying for the betterment of their homelands, but it’s a very different story to go to a foreign country to fight without back up or support against impossible odds. There are quicker and less painful ways of commuting suicide.

It’s also a bit much to suggest a couple of ex-Special Forces operators just happened to ‘be in the wrong place and wrong time’ in a country the US government had put travel advisories against, in the middle of a global pandemic.

Unless those guys are on the one and only famed ‘boating’ trips with all their guns, ammo and tactical gear gun-culture America loves to joke about, and got caught in a freak gust that blew them all the way from Miami to Venezuela, and washed ashore just as a bunch of other unrelated armed guys get raided by Venezuelan security forces...

It's rather strange this piece of news hasn't made its way onto google news at all. Today I've noticed out of serious non-tabloid titles; 30% of google suggested news content was related to China (ALL negative spins or negative suggestions/topics which include covid responsibility, students cheating, spreading influence), 30% or so related to COVID, 30% related to how good western countries are (Australian and Boeing partnered up to build a loyal wingman drone, Elon Musk's enterprising abilities, Tom Cruise's new Top Gun movie has scenes shot in space! COOL!). Google is as dodgy as they come.

Guess the bastards get away with yet another actual crime. And spare us the BS spin about how this isn't the case, they're innocent set ups, or not US gov sanctioned special forces.

my hunch is that trump got pushed back by the Pentagon and others on an actual invasion, so he acquiesced to his bodyguard being involved in a non-government funded conspiracy. If it fails he can deny, if it succeeds he will take all the credit and brag about how he circumvented the deep state. sounds almost like the Iran-contra lol.

History tells us these type of US-sponsored operation are not unusual, specially in South America.
