Recently there are tons of videos in China, both from media outlets and from personal accounts, about temporary hospitals closing and medical workers from other provinces that were sent to support Wuhan return to their hometown. They were treated as heroes on their returning trip, with police escorts and water cannons (for their airplane) etc., various ceremonies were held.

This is not something you can fake. There is no question that the first wave of infection has been quelled in China. Those who still doubt usually are not familiar with Chinese media and have no idea the level of information you can get from it.
If possible, could you please post those videos here? Would love to see them.

The other thing that people said was that the U.S. and the world will not want to rely on Chinese products anymore. This will be the end of the Chinese manufacturing. This is also like not going to be the case. Even after the virus is under control a year from now, to create a factory to make an item which the Chinese could make for a fraction of the cost is a money losing endeavor for a private company. Who in their right mind would get into this business? Companies don't get into business just because it would reduce the reliance to a foreign country, they do it to make money. If they fail to make money, they go belly up. Even if the U.S. were to raise taxes on import so high as to make this profitable, it would only be profitable in the U.S. and only while the taxes are up. Given that this would certainly encounter a counter measure from the Chinese side, we are talking about ripping up the phase 1 deal that Trump had negotiated with the Chinese. Given that the economy will be in a weaken state for many years, the U.S. can ill afford more economic dislocation as a result of another round of trade-war. As to the rest of the world, many of them have China either as a number 1 or very significant trading partner. They can ill afford to get on China's bad side. This is even more true now that they have taken a very big economic hit due to the virus.

I'm not too knowledgeable about this but I have a feeling anti-China sentiment will be so strong after this crisis that lawmakers will have no choice but to ban any private companies from interacting with China. They won't care about the economic hit it will cause themselves as long as China suffers more. Do you think this is a possibility?

Edit: just found these in English:

Btw, just noticed that in one of the videos, officials in Xiangyang (a Hubei city) were asking the leaving medical workers to submit their identifying information, so that they can be provided with lifetime free booking to all local tourist attractions and hotels. What a nice gesture.

call me sensitive, but I can't read them (though I previously watched combat footage, saw what happened after an ATGM hit, how it was for a guy entering trenches head-cam on etc.)

Hopefully it will wake up those people who think that only very old people are affected.

The coronavirus is considered a natural disaster hence the US wasn't sued for the 2009 swine flu. If they start suing because of the coronavirus then the US can be sued and it opens up a door where people can sue because of all sorts of natural disasters. When volcanos pour out lava in Hawaii and the flow heads towards populated areas, the government of Hawaii can divert the flow but they don't. Why? Because if the diversion leads the flow to destroy some other property, the government can be sued. If nature is doing its thing, the government can't be sued. Not to say they won't try suing because of the coronavirus but to do so will open a Pandora's box where everyone is going to start suing for any natural disaster. If there's a hurricane that destroys someone's house, you don't think someone will sue countries blaming it on climate change? What about island nations where they'll be first to suffer from rising sea levels. Which countries are they going to blame and sue?

victims is one thing, but the whole procedure is another thing, and I have been stunned for two (?) days now by the difference between Central Europe (they try to locate every body sick with the virus -- in addition to closed borders, Police catching those not covering face etc.) and the US as in
"The recommendation reflects a "shifting from a strategy of case containment to slowing disease transmission and averting excess morbidity and mortality," according to the statement."
