Carrier Air wings are just a part of the overall force.

USN has 850+ Carrier capable planes. (That's not counting the added USMC planes) compared to overall combined capacity of all 11 carriers being 600-720 planes.

France has 40 Carrier capable planes. Despite the capacity for 28 or so.

Russia has 35+ Carrier capable planes. Despite the capacity for 24 or so.

Mark my words. We will suddenly start seeing additional j15 on the new carrier soon enough. And basically a new wing formed within next 2 years.

Those extra ones would work as replacements. You can't deploy all those aircrafts at once on deployed carriers at the same time

We might.
All i'm saying is you don't require the number of airwings to be equal to the number of carriers.
By the way, whats the latest number for total j-15 spotted?

seems like we could be in a situation like Type 071 LPD

8 x LPD and like 10 x Type 726 LCAC when they need 32 for minimum and even as many as 50 to ensure they have availability

with 2 x CV they can carry 48 x J15

003 adds another 36

basically China needs 6 x Regiments to ensure available aircraft can serve those carriers

as of now it doesn't look good

I don't know how accurate is that video, the colours of the J-15s looks too bright to the point it looks almost cartoonish. So does the shadow on the ground.
