Pardon, but we have already a decent thread on the Zhuhai Airshow:

https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/zhuhai-air-show-2018.t8316/

So at least IMO there's no need for yet another pure picture-thread.

We have an outstanding thread on the Zhuhai Airshow, and it was an awesome airshow,,,, My concern is that we keep the J-20 "photograph album" together as a "reference collection", otherwise it will be lost in the Zhuhai/J-20 thread when they are updated,,, as a sticky or just a stand alone thread, it represents a massive photographic reference library, particularly those photo's with practice shots slung in the weapons bay, and off those side bay pylons.

Its alway's fun when people think they've found some new photograph, then the tremendous squawking that ensues when somebody has to remind everyone that somewhere back in 2016 that picture was already posted??

So at the present this tremendous reference upgrades every previous photo to current day, I for one think BY-78 should compile a photographic thread of his and others recent postings,, it is such a shame that many of our outstanding J-20 photographs are buried deep in our past inactive threads..

As much as I enjoy peoples thoughts and comments, and love to add my own,,, these photographs represent a massive windfall not likely to be repeated for some time, if ever, lets not let this amazing moment get lost in the "clutter".

I'd like to congratulate our Buddy Blitzo on an excellent article for the diplomat, very nicely done sir, and further evidence that we all need to aim for the best possible accuracy as we continue what I feel is one of the most informative and friendly forums on the internet. and thank Master Siege for posting our Brother's very fine article, we are fortunate to have you both...

While we are at it, welcome home Deino, I think we all felt a sense of pride and satisfaction that one our own was able to make the trip to Zhuhai, no doubt this gives you a further frame of reference for your professional work, I'm looking forward to hearing some of your observations and reading your excellent articles...

Deino said he is also writing an article. I wonder if it is going to be a magazine exclusive deal.

I can't wait to read it, I'm sure it will be an eye opener, I'm willing to bet we were all jealous of the participants at Zhuhai this year, heck, it was awesome from home, I can only imagine what it must have been like to see the OVT J-10 and what a lovely airshow by the Gentlemen flying the J-20, very slik, and just flat kool!

Well, ... did I miss something or has Jane's some different information`??

KLJ-7A AESA radar being considered for China’s J-20 fighter aircraft
Reuben F Johnson, Kiev - IHS Jane's Defence Weekly
16 November 2018

The Nanjing Research Institute of Electronics Technology’s (NRIET’s) KLJ-7A active electronically scanned-array (AESA) radar is being considered for use with China’s J-20 multirole ‘fifth-generation’ fighter aircraft, a Chinese industry source has told Jane’s .

The radar, a mock-up of which was displayed by NRIET in a three-array configuration at the Airshow China 2018 on 6–11 November, is one of the options being evaluated for use on the platform, said the source, without providing further details.

The KLJ-7A is an advanced variant of the KLJ-7 (also referred to as Type 1478) X-band airborne fire-control radar (FCR) that has previously been presented in a number of different configurations.

Thank you both for your kind words, but I must admit IMO I'M surely not a more reliable or professional writer than others especially not as Blitzo;

Thanks for that great report and I'm sure I cannot say more.

Concerning my report(s), there will be a brief pre-show report in the Air International and the true report will be published in the Air Forces Monthly and eventually the German FlugRevue.
