With all the hi-res pics of J20 coming out now, I'm 99.9% convinced she does NOT have an internal gun. While I admit I cannot identify a couple of panels, I'm however quite positive they aren't gunport covers.

There seems to be a panel on the starboard side that could be a gun port cover.

PAF needs to place some orders for them :)

Not for export; however I am of the belief that a fully-developed FC-31 could match the J-20 in A2A combat.

Yes, its called a Luneberg Lens, and it increase RCS so that air traffic control radars and other aircraft can see the J-20, F-22, F-35, etc, etc. A more important aspect for the Chinese at Zhuhai is that it also masks the actual RCS values of the aircraft, so its impossible to fine tune your radar, techniques to be able to "pick up" the L/O fighter when its flying with-out the Luneberg Lens!

I know of the Luneberg Lens. Here's what they look like on the F-35:

Here's the similar looking bumps on the J-20 (in greenish-yellow):

In fact, those in the new color are almost exactly the same as the ones on the F-35. The pod doesn't match the other nobs which do match the F-35s Luneberg Lenses.

Hence, why I am asking. And for the moment, still not sure.

No, the yellow bumps are integral to the aircraft's structure. They are part of the aircraft.

The ventral yellow bump is a housing which contains the front and rear looking ventral EO PDS, the two bumps at the front at the air intakes are unknown but probably some kind of RF antennae.

No that's fine, but the article in pink on the lower left aft fuse is indeed the Luneburg lens in a format identical to the F-22, now those other fairings may contain additional RCS enhancers as on the F-35, but the article on the left aft fuse is the Luneburg lens that J-20's have been flying since near their inception..

I would suppose that the Chinese have no intention of anyone outside of China having even a general idea of the J-20s RCS? and there are indeed additional optics and sensors around the J-20...

I'm certain that someone, (hopefully with some inside knowledge) will correct us if indeed we are wrong, LOL

I wouldn't be surprised if those additional fairings contain a signal emitter to create additional "noise", but that's just a supposition or to be honest they do look like antennae as Blitzo has suggested...

The J-20s do not figure into Pakistan Air Force doctrine. At present Pakistan is too busy with the progress of the JF-17 Thunder program. The present need is to attain near 100% manufacturing capability.

Pakistan Air Force has taken the correct step forward in enriching its reserve of aeronautical engineers, aerospace technology research, aircraft design and all the various elements required to establish a comprehensive foundation for future aircraft design and manufacturing capability. The Air University, along with R&D facilities have been established for this purpose.

It seems that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex will join forces with Shenyang Aircraft Corporation on the FC-31 program. In the event that this does take place in a couple of years time. Then I would say that FC-31s would more than likely feature in both PAF and PLAAF in the not too distant future.

I disagree. I think left shoulder has the gun.
You have to consider one thing; the Chinese has traditional of placing an aircraft gun under the belly. I think it is for easy cartridge ejection because the Chinese does not have the complex system like the U.S that recycle the used cartridges back into the drum. Further, I look at the hi-re photos above, I don't see anything look like a gun cover. Gun cover can't be completely flat.
