Not sure whether that load-out is in fact possible on the J-10 or not, but I am certain that this image is a pretty crude photoshop creation.

Indeed, a most unrealistic and plain crude photoshop creation and I'm still surprised why some in certain forums still use it as proof of the J-10A's true capabilities.

Anyway, IMO it is an unrealistic option since the PL-11 here - and they are not PL-12 - are too large to be carrier on four additional. Concerning its weight it surely could be possible since we've seen 250 kg bombs on each of these pylons but - even if I did not measure - the fins of the missile would collide with the landing gear doors. I even have the feeling that esp. the rear ones are made a bit smaller/shorter than they should be.

Anyone knows about the updates on previous news regarding China's interest in building the AN-225?

Below seems to suggest it's stalled or at least no progress:

Assembly nearly happened in 2016, when China expressed an interest in completing the construction, but because of difficulties of transporting the aircraft parts to Chinese soil, it never happened.

Silchenko says that while the company is still open for different options, the aircraft could be successfully put together and completed only in Kiev.

Why didnt plaaf try to acquire the tu 160 blackjack in the last decade? Wouldn't it be a better design to improve upon and learn from as a bomber than the h-6? Even tu 22 is a better design than h 6 and has better specs..

I think it is kind of early for the Chinese to get into such aircraft though. They would need a powerful engine like the NK-32 which has like 137 kN dry thrust. The Pratt & Whitney F135 engine of the F-35 also has similar performance parameters and is supposed to be used as a basis for the B-21's engine.

The lack of powerful engines means the Chinese likely will make their H-20 a quad engine bomber aircraft. Similar to the B-2 or the B-1 which have similar engine thrust levels as current Chinese engines. Even the Russians are having issues sourcing high power engines for their Tu-160's.

I just dont get why cash starved russia and tech starved china won't rush to fulfill their objectives using a mutually beneficial program, considering they can fully complement each other's disability.

Come on guys, that's too much speculation and it's just discussing on issues barely anyone of us understands.

One might ask, why Russia did not sell them in order to gain money .. I think they would never have offered.
One might discuss, such a type would be a great addition to the PLAAF ... I'm almost sure, the PLAAF did not even requested this type.
One might see the NK-32 as a powerful engine suitable for a single engine fighter ... I'm sure that's ridiculous, since such a monster would never fit to a fighter.

And we don't need a pure fiction and phantasy or what-if thread?
