Put this way:
If you are a highly professional and devoted PLAN electronic warfare officer, do you dare to claim that "as professional and patriotic, I am betting my superiority and my country's security on 'new comer renovation/advantage'. I don't need a bit to study, and 200% alert with, those experience US already acquired via 50+ years practices."
If you are a similar professional and devoted US officer, are you going to say "relax!, as long as that 50+ years experience, I don't worry a bit about Chinese renovation. I won't even bother to know it, study it, and worry any sign of disruptive creation!"
My two cents to shut this argue, please.

Yes, you did, everything you mentioned was either direct experience or what you expect to be achieved by experience. So to summarize, basically just experience.

As demonstrated exactly by this "rebuttal" here..
Saying that someone has been doing something for fifty years and is there fore better than anyone else...and saying that someone has pushed the technology , development, and operational theory as a result of experience are NOT the sme theing.

You can do something and be successful and yet count on what you are doing as being good enough and have the experience.

You can also do something, but not count on it being good enough and improve upon it furing that whole tiome and therefore improve what yu have been doing.

Those two thiongs are different and ar what I am referring to.

But I have siad this several times now, while at the same time indicating that the Chinese development is a very good thing for the PLAN and PRC and will move their capabilities forward.

We will not know whether it is inferior, equal to, or superior until it has been out there working in the real world for some time. And I am anxiously awating to see how it actuallyperforms once it does.

I'll leave it at that.

Would be interesting to know why this strange dropping nose is included?

Visibility, probably.

Sorry for the misleading question. My point was: Is this purely an artistic detail made by the CG-artist or does he (or she) have some information, that the real one will also feature this design?

I think the artist just made it according to the static model on Wuhan's concrete CV.

See the profile of the vertical stabilizer and the hump above the cockpit and the slopped down nose. Comparing with JZY-01 demo below.

I don't believe these have been revealed before. Apparently, this is a photo taken at a handover ceremony for the Carrier AWACs test platform, which according to the second photo, took place on August 13th, 2009.

The words on the backdrop translates roughly as "Handover ceremony for the critical technology demonstrator for the carrier-borne early warning platform". At least that's what I think is the gist. However, I'm unsure about certain technical terms employed here.

Here's the somewhat literal translation just for kicks: "Carrier-borne AWACs platform critical technologies verification prototype, intense(?) experimental aircraft handover ceremony".
