The full scale mock-up is not a “reveal”. It’s a leak. They weren’t exhibiting the full scale mock-up in a public venue.

But such leaks are also usually managed or at least sanctioned.

My point is that some of us are trying to figure out what’s going on with the Anjian by making extrapolations on the basis that this full scale mock up is comparable to other SAC models put up in public exhibits, when this is not the case.

Can somebody do us a favor and translate or summarize what fr6 has said? Or better yet, shed some light on his credibility & authority, or lack thereof?

Somewhat late, but I just remembered to search PDF for fr6 to see if he has any history (their search function is also better, as you can use a query as short as two characters as opposed to four here). He is described by several people as an insider working in AVIC's electronics industry.

According to Dafengcao it is now in operation with 3 regiment So still waiting for Divine Eagle to go operation

By the way ... via Huitong, the BZK-006A is also known as the WZ-6A and we've never seen any image of the WZ-9 aka BZK-009; could it be that this original WZ-9 evolved to the Soaring Dragon as we know it now?

While stealth attack drones especially in large numbers has the potential to disrupt opfor air superiority and certainly turn the tide of battle or have immense strategic implications, a one to one dogfight will most certainly favor a manned fighter.

Just wanted to throw this out there.

At this point in time, remote technology is not yet advanced enough to give a full 100% total situational awareness needed that an actual human inside a fighter can. A person sitting on a desk chair controlling a plane simply cannot match someone doing the actual flying and controlling in-situ in close quarters. I'm afraid that still belongs to Hollywood at this point in time.

even a 3 for 1 is a good deal for the side using the unmanned fighters though. Just imagine the effect on enemy morale and the will for war when they don't even have to trade any lives and score kills.
