OK, a bit of research?? (why you shouldn't believe everything you hear or think you hear on the interwebs? so with the addition of the lower aft hull,,, (which is 70 ft in length) the Kennedy's lower hull is complete... it didn't "grow" an additional 70 ft over the Ford after all!

On a semi related note, the DBR on the Ford is actually more capable than the spy6 on the JFK and subsequent ships.

Exactly,, getting away from the DBR on the Ford is strictly to save money,, they same ignorant logic that caused us to spend "billions" on the F-35, instead of "millions" on the F-22?? so as usual, we'll be getting "less for more??",, that's about right isn't it Brother?

Yup, we are always asked to do 'more with less' but always ended up getting less for more. The military industrial complex runs the same way.
