NATO is a military alliance, and it can't have Russia (or any other state) dictating to one of its members, without addressing it as an alliance. If Norway is willing to kowtow to Russian demands on missile defense deployment, then NATO should either overrule it or demand Norway choose to leave or stay in NATO.
NATO even doesn't let itself be dictated to by a parliament of one of its members. The Dutch government has never acknowledged that US nuclear weapons are stored in the Netherlands but when a former prime minister said that as a conscripted lieutenant he had help guard these bombs denial was impossible. Several years ago a large majority of the main chamber of the Dutch parliament voted for a resolution to have them removed but the government said that couldn't be done. As a member of NATO the Netherlands isn't sovereign.

(so twelve Buyan-Ms in total should be obtained by the Russian Navy)
and this:

is interesting, in addition to what manufacturers always say (which is how things are great :) I noticed, according to this source,
  • there're two hundred vendors involved in providing the weaponry of Buyan-Ms
  • the total price of a new Buyan-M would be about $150m (27e9/57/3)
(LOLOL just for the Russian Navy, I add)

says the first "new Gauntlet"

it shoots; must've been rocket science to figure out the configuration of fins (or are there wings in the tail? :)

bro I think you're correct here!
"... в хвостовой части ракеты расположены и сопла системы склонения, направляющей боеприпас при запуске в сторону цели ..."

but one thing: it's just a scale model, a missile is in the container ... you know what I'm saying? LOL

I should've said like
... the first Missile Regiment was equipped with "new Gauntlet" ...
(I got distraught by the Western Military District reference) and not to make an impression as if just one machine had been delivered :) in the Soviet model, as far as I know a Missile Regiment would consist of four batteries, each of four machines

where's
thunderchief
? he would know for sure :)

Wow that last picture the A/C tail looks to be so tall and engine looks huge

Its a very small airframe, note how the aft fuse is "pinched in, right ahead of the powerplant, why it could have possibly managed with only one engine, where the also small and light Mig-29 needed two. These light compact birds end up priced about 80 to 90% of what a real airplane costs, and they frankly deliver about 50+, so your spending almost as much money on development/production to end up with 1/2 the airplane???

do the math!
