Rumors are that CAC is working on J10D version with following; later J10B & Cs will be upgraded to D version.

CFT
Hard points on wing tips.
New Local Engine.
Further Avionics upgrade.

Though cant find any reliable source to confirm above.
What's the source or sources of said rumors?

Is it credible for economically challenged Bangladesh to purchase FC-20s when the JF-17 is available as cost effective replacement for F7? I don't see it.

must be a false news BD air force has issued a tender for twin engine jets not the single engine jet

40. Power Plants. The aircraft is to be powered by two turbofan engines with minimum dry thrust of at least 5500 Kg and 8000 Kg with afterburner (each engine). The engine should have auto and manual relighting provision in flight. It should also fulfill the following:
a. The engine operation life should not be less than 2000 hours.
d. TBO of the engine should be at least 1000 hours.
c. The thrust weight ratio should be minimum 0.8:1.
d. The engines should be interchangeable (no left/right demarcation).

Again: What's the source of this ?? Following several other reports by this page, the BAF would close to operate JF-17s, J-10Bs and also Su-35 in the near future.

IMO Strategical Journal (SJ) is a FB-site made by fans and enthusiasts ...
