After 22 total strikes from various ordinance, the USS Rentz, her back broken and split in two, she sinks:

Remember, this vessel had been emptied of fuel, ordinance, and anything that might have caused secondary explosions. She was also in a watertight Zebra condition.

Still, those OHP frigates proved to be tough old salts.

Today's OPFOR (Su-35) will be played by none other than the F-18! :)
The Paint scheme Was actually invented for The F18 OPFOR and then adopted by The Iranians and Russians... Considering that the Fleet seems to be about to transition more in favor of the FA18E/F and Then F35C Keeping a new older F18's flying for OPFOR is not a bad Idea really Being able to perfectly match the Performance of the Adversary is not the Goal of Aggressor or Adversary training It's facing an adversary who's flight aspects are different. Doing this could be accomplished by simply fighting Hornets to Falcons or Eagles to Super hornets or Hornets on super Hornets or Flankers on Fulcrums or Lightnings on Falcons or Typhoons on Rafaels.

This is a damn disgrace. I give credit where it's due but will be critical when needs be. The LCS's have had more issues than almost any other ship it's size and they need to get their act together.

Not only are all these issues major but they have already hurt people not to mention affect naval readiness with their constant breakdowns!

Sailors will not have the confidence in their ship and perform their duties like they should when the entire class constantly suffers such types of engineering problems.

Naw it's not luck it's unrealistic optimism. 40-50 crew running an almost 4k ton ship using CODAG is a receipe for disaster. Ask any sr. chief MM and he will tell you the same darn thing!
