Just a quick translation. Green vest+white helmet/Yellow vest+yellow helmet=take off. Green vest+green helmet=arresting. Yellow vest/blue vest+blue helmet=logistics/arrangement (not too sure about the carrier specific term for this, but basically it means "arranging and transporting", so I guess they would be in charge of moving the J15s and ammunition around on the deck). White vest+white helmet= safety.

Those color codes are very, very similar to the USN flight deck color code.

Popeye, they won't be trying to do anything new because it would only take considerable amount of time before reinventing the wheel again and coming to the same conclusions that US Navy had come to throught decades. They aim for US Navy and JMSDF when it comes to work standards aboard the ships. There's nothing wrong with that and those are probably best copybooks in the world. Good for them.

What the ....

How fast are these yards working? Are they adding like a module every few days ???

Launch in 2016 for sure
First hanger module Oct 18th, and this is said to be 10th one. So about one module per week. But the first a couple was slower than that and the speed now is faster.
Would be interesting to see how it looks like in March.

The yard was built first to help rebuild Liaoning, second to build further flattops. With that it is the newest and most modern flattop yard in the World.
I wonder how fast the Shanghai yard will produce flattops and how many PLAN wants to see build by 2030. Do they plan to export them? Brazil?
