Everybody is doing it, it's probably just easier using existing 3D models. DCNS animators also used a pair of 054A for targets in their concept video for the SMX Ocean multi-mission SSK. The latest video from LockMart showcasing the LRASM went with a Slava. The Russians have also made a number of concept videos involving destruction of American hardware and I imagine Chinese animators would do the same when they get hired to market Chinese weapons.
It makes sense from a marketing perspective where France would probably try to sell it to SE Asian, African, or Middle Eastern forces where Chinese military exports are part of the competition. Where better than in a promotional video to show that your wares beat your competitor's wares especially if they might be used by a potential customer's potential adversary.
There are now new Frigate Squadrons before named Subchaser Squadron for units which get 056, Haiging, Hainan. Can make sense because 056 can be designated light frigate but for armament is a Corvette.
I precise exist already some Frigate Squadrons with Jiangwei I and Jianghu.
