I wonder one day in the distant future will whole carrier battle groups be automated to the point where only the largest ships in the formations are manned and even then just act to command the operations not actually operate? Drone destroyers, drone frigates, drone subs, drone fighters on the deck maintained by robots that fuel, arm, repair and maintain. Perhaps even terminator style infantry deployed from drone amphibious assault ships and transports using drone air assault craft to land on shore and secure a beachhead for operations ranging from humanitarian assistance to combat.
its kinda scary to think of. A wholly robotic armed forces, where in troops are manufactured not trained and know no fear of blood shed or horror of war. No conscience to prevent certain actions, no regrets to keep body counts to a minimum. If a assault seems to have been stymied just load up more robots.

Yes, as of today, it seems the Armies and Navies of the future may operate in the way you described ... I wonder if human operators, who will control the machines, are going to suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

even if they did NOT fight against humans directly (I mean their machines would shoot, bomb etc. just machines of the enemy, not people) ??

that may depend on how disconnected they are. I mean if its just a commander in a office on the ship commanding in a risk style board commanding at the strategic and the machines operating at the tactical level then its possible that the distinction between them and those they are acting against will be so great as to produce such a limited number of cases. And if its robot on robot battle virtually null.

yeah for me it's enough when I try to imagine coming home from the shift spent on such assignment and answering casual questions like "How was your day?" or "How was it going?"

This fan created the CGI of a 15,000 tons nuclear CV-20 "Xinjiang" of the "Hua Qing" class aircraft carrier. Looks like an enlarge QE class to me though.

I think you meant 150,000 tons, eh?

Far too many CIWS, and they are positioned improperly. Also, the take-off runs to the ski-jump are not good either...with that large a deck, there's no need for them to ever be constricting parking space and space next to the island like that. The ski-jump would come on forward to the bow, lose the 100mm or 130mm gun, with a wider deck coming forward too...from the forward island forward.

Seems almost to be set up by someone who wanted a monster carrier, with lots of aircraft and lots of guns, for a video game environment IMHO.

As long as we're looking fanboy...maybe try something more like this:

Yes Sir!!! Agree with you.

On a second look on the CGIs, the parking of the planes look so wrong and unusual.

It does have a luxury of space but not parking a dozen of planes in the landing strip!

What you have corrected is more accurate as to have more spaces for the landing planes...

Also the fabricated CV seems to have VLS on its front island and the radar tower...
