^^^ When I was little in the 90's my parents bought for me a box of little plastic toy planes - in there were the f teen series, the SR-71, Mig-25 and Mirage 2000. One of them was this one. Didn't know what the hell that plane was back then, I thought the manufacturers had taken liberty with their imagination with that one and mixed it with the real ones.

Sadly there was no F-22. :p

latest picture of KJ-2000.my speculation is that the original KJ-2000 and 052 PAR uses GaAs MMIC T/R ,but latest 052 with different antenna design, according to japanese electronic expert told Kanwa.the new antenna may have use GaN technology for RF agility and higher bandwidth.likely KJ-2000 antenna may have switch to GaN MMIC.

But that is an old Image !!! (I think from 2009 to 2011 or even earlier) since this aircraft - as You stated - is the original one and now has a completely different colour scheme.

Doesn't make sense, why would coast guard get Y-8FQ ASW, it's designed with internal bomb bay, first priority would be to get it delivered to the Navy

Maybe it's because Coast Guard assets patrolling over disputed area are less threatening than Naval assets.

It is surely a joke, of course China Coast Guard is not getting any Y-8FQ. Right now, they are flying less than 12 Y-12, which is no doubt excellent - for their purposes.
