Closing bab el mandab not really a big deal. Ships can still go via the suez canal from saudi coast and transport oil that way
Already stated multiple times during the war that the pipelines there don't provide enough relief and pumping stations can be taken out since they aren't going anywhere. Not the first time it has been proposed and coped about.
Well besides the problem that it will add an extra +40 days to the tankers trip during an oil shortage.
