Sometimes I wonder if they deliberately make it have such a low signal to noise ratio to make it harder for outsiders to efficiently get information.

But most of it is probably deliberately wanting to make it a form of entertainment and to be "personalities" and "content creators" in their own right. I suppose it's a fair tradeoff for being able to get what is ultimately some credible and predictive information now and then, but it does lend the risk of making PLA watching too colloquial, self-satisfied and too meme-heavy.
That and Chinese military info is still highly restricted so often they have to intentionally be vague and shit talk their way into implying what's actually going on to not get in trouble. Honestly this has been the standard practice for semi-credible sources leaking info for like two decades, perhaps the podcast format has allowed them to go ham a bit more than on weibo or cjdby where everything's done in writing.

Being vague and non-specific and adhering to self-restrictions is fine; that's always been the case.

But what the podcast/webshow format has done is far beyond being just vague and non-specific --- it is adding excessive irrelevant topics that greatly increases the volume of chaff, taking much more net time to actually consume to even garner if there is a chance of having any useful information. It becomes a genuine waste of time.

It is quite different to the past BBS days or the current format of people posting vague things on weibo.

Real question is what’s the point. You can’t get the range advantage with the N001 twist cassegrain radar, and I don’t know if MKK/MK2 supports data linking with KJ-500 series to the extent that they can provide targeting data.
