What exactly are you trying to say?

You talked about deterrence all day, but in the end you're afraid of scaring people.

It seems you really treat deterrence as a show; to outsiders, your deterrence tactics look like a clownish performance.
The only clown here is you. I have literally not typed the word "deterrence" on this forum since February.

I am advocating for resisting the US imposing a framework based on force. The toll didn't exist until the US bombed Iran. The blockade didn't exist until Trump got pissy at Iran retaliating. You want the entire world to sit there and take it up the ass like a good little bitch when making Trump TACO is relatively trivial.

Many observers said they expect the leadership in Beijing will adopt a wait-and-see approach, with little likelihood of an immediate stimulus to guarantee the country’s annual economic target is met.

“The first-quarter performance should be solid,” said Ding Shuang, chief economist for Greater China and North Asia at Standard Chartered, predicting gross domestic product growth of around 4.8 per cent on the back of resilient trade and gradually improving consumption.

US economic growth decelerated markedly in the first quarter of 2026, with GDP expanding at a mere 0.5% annualized rate, a sharp drop from the robust 4.4% in the previous quarter. This slowdown, reported Thursday morning, underscores emerging headwinds for American investors, potentially influencing Federal Reserve rate

4.8% vs 0.5% based on 1st Quarter....China can adopt wait and see. Keep the ball on the game is still the economy. Not all the nonsense in the middle east. Let Trump burn himself there, tweeting this tweeting that...doesn't matter as US still haemoraging fund and billions lost in the war. There's estimate about 30~40 billions cost to the US already in this war and Trump asking for 200 billions from Congress for the war and plan to raise budget to 1.5 trillions for Dept of War and cutting all other medicaid, healthcare, social security, money for bridges, home infrastructures, veterans benefits, education etc...badly rotten internally at the moment. Plus the debt reaches 40 trillions by end of this year. The dollar also not strengthening at the moment, as many dumping their US treasuries to protect their own currencies. Only India in a bad shape with Rupee going down to the dogs due they really have no leverage....fertilizers, their bad hand in US trade, oil being choke, raw materials being choke, their own reserve can't handle the rupee fluctuation and dumping etc. Any currencies that hold their resilient are the one growing stronger from this war and has their own independence

This is on the front page of CNN. Houthis is difficult to be defeated by just aerial bombing or naval blockade. However, if the Houthis decided to blockade the other strait, I think the US will send ground invasion into Yemen to clean out the Houthis. I am not sure if Iran had thought this through. US ground invasion might have great difficulty in Iran but might not be for Yemen though.

Iran’s military threatens Red Sea shipping if US blockade continues

US can say goodbye to it's ceasefire if they invade Yemen, Considering they lost the war with Yemen last time, i don't see how they will win this time. FPV drones can do a lot of damage and the US isn't even prepared for them, also Iranian allies in Iraq and elsewhere can invade one of these or multiple weakly defended GCC countries in response to the US invasion. They simply will do nothing unless they want this war to be restarted.

The US will just bog itself down in a quagmire. It's best to just retreat and leave this mess.

Trump says asked China's Xi not to give weapons to Iran: Fox Business

Xi ask Trump, you giving weapons to Taiwan? Ambram tanks? F16?

I only give commercial satellites data, rocket fuels for experimental industry development, Beidou chips for car navigation, cotton, explosive powders for mining and safety helmet and jackets, maybe machinery tool for repairing bridges, railways. These are typical civilians use only.

Also I do have some backlog weapons order pending delivery for Iran, but just wait all these over first. I don't want to prolong the war as I'm a peace loving guy.

You still can't beat Iran? even with Israel? Not my problem....

The actual economic damage to China is collapse of demand for Chinese products from other countries that are unable to address their energy shortfall.

I can see exports of EV cars and renewable energy products will skyrocket after this oil shortage experience. BYD car sales in Philippines had increased 3X folds this year.

China could always send materials and dual use parts to make missiles and drones..

Sending warships into the middle of someone else's battlefield and expecting them to be afraid to attack—isn't that "deterrence"?
This is the coping strategy you've been talking about all day.
This is utterly absurd!
I've already told you which more effective countermeasures China could have taken.
I don't know what you're trying to say, but I do know that you're single-mindedly trying to get China to send ships into the Strait of Hormuz to engage in close combat with American warships. I said that's a foolish thing to do, and you've been trying to justify it.
If you still insist that direct military intervention is a controllable solution, then I have nothing more to say.

I really feel bad (not) for India, few years back, they were the "Star" of the show, when US Biden trying to court them, given a center stage of news, discussion or what not and earlier Trump administration continuing Biden policy before all hell break loose.

Their big mishape/fortune/global perception really turn around after the Pakistani Indian war....that total humiliation of that and Trump started tweeting the nonsense out.

Modi becomes like a broken shell of a man now, totally lost the oomph factor in all his recent endevours and even walking style.

Total quiet this time around for India, even his favorite son Jaishankar guy been so quiet lately

Really no cards to play but some dirty trick, matter made worst last Modi visited Israel before the hell gates of economy opens and hit them hard

Seems to be sitting at the small table quietly at far corner aways from all the chess pieces being moves in the middle east. The Pakistanis seems very busy at the moment....

Your ideas are garbage because they are either worthless or even more escalatory. How the fuck is sending a defensive escort trying to engage in close combat? Are you stupid?

Unless you are suggesting any challenge to American unilateral naval action is foolish or illegal. If that is the case, I can only conclude you are either a State Department bootlicker or Mossad.
