I see no viable path for Satanyahu past this year. 2026 elections, criminal trials...

Keep in mind, he not only made Iran stronger by multiple orders of magnitude,

But he also nuked Israel's perception in the whole world in 4K forever,

While even the majority of the West dislikes them now, and that grows by the day.

He will be blamed by Israelis for everything that is coming to them in the future.

Unfortunately, the Rich Starry was carrying methanol from the UAE. That was the last port call, so unless it had previous port calls in Iran, it would not count towards a direct challenge of this blockade since the US said the blockade was only for ships docking in Iran. That's the last thing they said that I recall but who knows, they something different every 15 minutes.

That said, the tanker itself and the owner are sanction by the US for Iran links and has been since 2023 so, it's not nothing.

The Iranians believed the US delegation largely lacked the technical expertise to fully understand the issues in depth. They also did not have the authority to make major decisions (he points out Vance himself said he made multiple calls to Trump).

They believed the US delegation led by the Vice President was primarily there to assess the state of Iranian thinking after weeks of war. They intentionally made maximalist demands to see how the Iranians would react

He affirms there were trilateral meetings with Iran, the US, and the Pakistanis in the same room and on the same table. No one was shuttling between rooms like the previous rounds.
