I would actually say Shanghai is actively hostile to motor vehicles. Oh my god, I fucking HATE how Shanghai's road network underneath the 高架 are designed. Awful lines of sight, unnecessary complexity and too many islands (for support columns of the highways above) that restrict movement. That's not to say the pedestrian experience is much better either.
Agree, perhaps it is because Shanghai began building roadways earlier and without as much planning? Overall, Shanghai is less of a planned city (apart from newer areas like Lu Jia Kou) compared to most other Chinese cities and that things were just kind of built adhoc.

Combination usage of MC-130J and MH-6 with A-10 to establish a protective perimeter around a temporary airfield with company-level amount of soldiers are SOPs during high value personnel rescue missions in an active warzone. We cannot be certain on the mission type only by deducting the composition of fleets.

The 15th Special Operations Squadron also landed an MC-130J Commando II with two MH-6 Little Birds onto Wyoming Highway 789, conducting a time-sensitive, personnel recovery mission with Airmen from the 123rd Special Tactics Squadron. Airmen with the 123rd Special Tactics Squadron secured landing zones and operated the highways as usable runways during both of the exercise’s major events.

Iran's 10-point counter offer for a permanent end of the conflict, not a 45-day cease fire. The U.S.' Suez moment?
From the New York Times:

Iran’s 10-Point Proposal Demands an End to Attacks and Sanctions

There are some juicy targets for Iran. You can't blame Iran for potentially hitting these.

Really?

Chinese AI satellite intelligence helping Iran target US forces with 'incredible precision', analysts say

In short:
Analysts say images taken by a Chinese company could be helping Iran to target its opponents with extreme precision.

A retired Australian major general says the capability could put Australian troops at risk.

The company behind the satellite images has not responded to the ABC's requests for comment and a US analyst says the Chinese government should intervene.

Gordan Chang reminds me of Kirsan Ilyumzhinov aka the leader of Kalmykia who claimed he was kidnapped by Aliens. I brought the RFE article because he states that Tibet needs independent from China completing the Gordon Chang parallel.

is rather more sensible than the headline, but even when rendered in more detailed and nuanced form ("China’s status as a superpower without a global military footprint challenges U.S. strategic clarity and restraint in ways that differ from the Cold War and U.S. unipolar era.") the basic riposte remains: Washington's incompetence is Washington's responsibility.
