Now I hear a lot of people whine why did China and whatever sponsors give her so much attention over all these other ethnic Chinese? She single handedly gave China 3 golds and 3 silvers. I think the results speak for themselves at this point. There is probably no other female freestyle skier in the world right now that is near her talent never mind a full ethnic Chinese.
This is the real reason the US is seething so much about her repping China. Thats a crap load of medals that could have went to the US otherwise. If she didn't get any medals, no one would give a crap.

The United States reiterated its nuclear protection of Japan, and the two countries pledged to strengthen military coordination and called for a new nuke control agreement that includes China.
The Strategic mutual trust between the US and China has become negligible, if it even exists anymore. Bringing Japan into the effort to exert pressure is essentially an attempt to find a pretext for nuclear troop deployment, rather than a genuine intention to reach a control agreement.
Coupled with Takaichi's revision of the three non-nuclear principles, the nuclear weapons density in the Western Pacific will increase dramatically within the next 10 years.
