Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene on Wednesday signaled openness to restore diplomatic relations with China and said that she would be prepared to consider renaming an office set by the Taiwan regional authority in her country, according to media reports. These remarks came less than 10 days after she admitted Lithuania had made a strategic mistake by allowing a "Taiwanese representative office" to open in the capital under the name "Taiwanese," in an interview with the Baltic News Service (BNS).

The reason is US intelligence agencies are inherently racist. People not like them cannot be trusted. That has been their literal philosophy since the birth of Western intelligence. Look at how the US right now is paranoid about Chinese students. None of them can be trusted because they’re potential spies just for being Chinese. Being an intelligence agent means they have access to secrets. They’re having trouble recruiting because of their own institutional prejudices in the first place.

Just look at Jimmy Lai. Spy or not he was working for the West and now he’s facing twenty years in a Chinese prison. That’s the price you pay for working for the West and the only thing the West can do for their asset is tweet out for China to release him. How comforting if you were a spy for the West that that’s all they’ll do for you if you get caught. If anyone believes the US will send Seal Team Six to rescue Jimmy Lai and start WWIII, you’ll find out the true value to the West of what a Chinese spy working for them is worth to them… In others words Jimmy Lai’s family should be making funeral arrangements instead of expecting the West risking anything.
