China's Space Program Thread II

Apologies for the order, this should go above the other post, but it took me a bit to type it out, didn't want to just delete it all.

This is the 70th launch, the one above is the 71st. With this launch, China becomes only the third nation to launch 70 orbital missions in a year, along with the Soviet Union/Russia and the United States. It does look like we will hit the 80 launch mark, as well.

The launch, which was unknown as to the payload, was confirmed to be the Shiyan 32 01, 02 and 03. The university satellite some people speculated that would be on it, will instead be launched on another platform tomorrow, probably a Ceres-1. Had to do Imgur for this one as well, too many images.

Shijian-30 mission patch. You just know with a patch like that this is going to be one spicy bird.
Shiyan-32 01-03 and Shijian-30 A/B/C are coplanar with Starlink and Amazon sats; probably testing inspection or/and jamming...

Here's a summary of what a source on Bilibili said during a live stream. I don't guarantee the accuracy and respect the wishes of the person involved, so I won't name them (although those who follow know).

1. ZQ-3 can still launch this year.

2. Currently circulating claims are all rumors.

3. Especially regarding CZ-12A, their team did not obstruct Landspace in any way; on the contrary, they provided assistance.

4. Delay was not caused by anyone's malicious intent, but rather a problem involves the entire commercial space industry.

My take? It's probably just that they need to go through the motions with the newly established Commercial Space Office and register under the new regulatory framework—that's all. Landspace just had bad timing, but that's how government administration works.

Think about it. CASC had no motive to sabotage the ZQ-3 launch at the last minute, that would have been too obvious. If they possessed such influence, they could have simply prevented the ZQ-3 from entering the launch site and erecting, making the CZ-12A the undisputed first.

I'd rather believe Xi wanted to repeat the grand spectacle of December 26th last year, concentrating all the major events on that day, every reusable rocket firing away one by one:p

The Qingzhou-1 cargo spaceship is looking for launch service proposals. Now, it is unclear as to the nature of the Lijian-2 spacecraft, and whether this will, or will not, fly on the craft at this point. This could be the debut flight or any flight after, so we do not know at this point.

Invitation to Solicit Launch Service Proposals for the Qingzhou Cargo Spacecraft

The Qingzhou Cargo Transportation System, proposed by the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is under development as planned. We are now publicly soliciting launch service proposals for the Lightboat cargo spacecraft. The main points are as follows:

I. Qingzhou Cargo Spacecraft

◆ Payload: Qingzhou cargo spacecraft, approximately 5000 kg;

◆ Spacecraft Envelope: 5300 mm (Xs) × φ3780 mm;

◆ Target Orbit: Space Station Orbit;

◆ Loading Requirements: Capable of installing cargo within the fairing before launch;

◆ Service Requirements: On-orbit delivery, conforming to international standards for quality and risk management systems.

II. Invitation to Cooperation We are now soliciting proposals from launch partners based on the requirements of this project, including:

● Recommended launch vehicle model and adaptability analysis;

● Launch trajectory design and mission timing planning;

● Risk control measures and historical data;

● Product quality assurance measures and related interface requirements. Our organization will subsequently issue a formal tender announcement and initiate a competitive process through officially designated procurement platforms or channels. We welcome all parties to pay attention to the subsequent formal tender announcement.

III. Cooperation Outlook We look forward to establishing long-term strategic partnerships with interested transportation service providers to jointly promote the reliable and economical development of the light-vessel freight transportation system. This solicitation ends on December 25, 2025.

Why are there so many people jump arround and scream of dramatic reasons for the delay? From sabotage to bureaucratic action? Why do people even think that the newly established agency has anything to do with a launch date that was approved long ago by the parent of that new agency?

Why can't people just accept the plain cause, WEATHER which is "cause majeure" as the official statement said. There was a fxxking strong wind lasting for more than 8 hours in Beijing in the past days. Guess where the wind is from? Besides, Beijing is shielded by the mountains, imagine the launch site in the middle of flat land without any mountain to protect.
