Maybe because there are two J-50s already?
Wait that means the second J-36 is finished already and getting ready or already flying? I know about the rumours of second J-36. Makes me wonder if CAC will adopt AMWs like SAC's J-50 has as well since what appears to be CAC's UADF already has them.Rumor has it that they are building the third J-36. I think perhaps the flight control is more challenging on the J-36 since they can’t cheat with movable wingtips.
We don’t know if it is flying. It is also possible that the second bird is a static test frame and never intended to fly.Wait that means the second J-36 is finished already and getting ready or already flying? CAC won't. There is no need to make an actual prototype to find out the characteristic of any control method including AMT which isn't some super new tech that is less understood than other. When CAC made J-36 they know what they would get and give up.Makes me wonder if CAC will adopt AMWs like SAC's J-50 has as well since what appears to be CAC's UADF already has them.
"36011" should be the third J-36 like how "2011" was the third J-20. We might just not see J-36s fly anymore because they are in actual testing area instead of the skies of ChengduRumor has it that they are building the third J-36.
