The site says that's not the case.
That's the database not the Orbat. Orbat says "By 2025 the KJ-500 was first noted with the relative new KJ-200G not flying anymore."
The KJ200 may have moved to a new unit but I also saw somewhere that one was seen with its balance beam removed, for reasons unknown.

Airframe may have needed wing box root strengthening. or the array needed maintenance or replacement of faulty system or modernization. Plenty of reasons to take off the radar.
Especially if just one plane was seen without the array. Stuff like that happens all the time.

Even if they need it, they'll have to atleast wait until C919 gets CJ-1000A is ready
Nah, I believe a separate WS-20 derivative could probably be developed and from what I've seen the WS-20 is operational currently.
That'll likely take longer than CJ-1000A integration as it is rumored to be done in the next 1-2 years, with AEF1200 you'd have to start over all again and redo all the certification.
