They like their planes getting bricked during wartime or something? What a braindead decision. Could've had 2-3x as many J-10Cs for that retarded price.
They have experience with the development of Rafale, borrowing many elements into their own Novi Avion.

I linked only these two images, because it shows Chinese origin equipment and guests from different counties including China. On the parade where different drones also from China (FH-92 and FH-95 as an example). FK-3 was also present. On the link there is a small video and other pictures.
There is also one small detail that might indicate that Serbia also bought GL-6 APS. Most M-84 tanks shown on the pictures are modernized to AS1/2 standard. But there is a picture of a prototype tank (AS3) that shows radars and effectors that may be GL-6.

On September 20, 2025, the largest military parade, "The Power of Unity," took place in Belgrade. The military parade was timed to coincide with Serbia's Day of Unity, Freedom, and National Flag. More than 10,000 personnel, up to 2,500 pieces of weapons and equipment, approximately 600 vehicles, 70 aircraft, and 20 ships took part in the parade. The parade showcased the modernized Serbian Armed Forces. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and numerous delegations from various countries attended the parade. We are publishing a shortened version so you can appreciate the scale of Serbia's rearmament. The parade showcased Serbian air defense systems, including the Chinese-made HQ-22 and HQ-17AE air defense systems, as well as Russian and Soviet-made air defense systems, including the Pantsir-S1M air defense system, the S-125 Neva air defense system, and the Kub-M2 air defense system. Serbian Mistral 3 air defense systems, manufactured in France. Serbian-made PASARS-16 and HARPAS air defense systems. Serbian-made Sumadija modular MLRS. Serbian PULS MLRS, manufactured in Israel. Serbian Komarac FPV drones. Serbian Hermes-900 UAVs, manufactured in Israel. Also on display were Serbian M-84AC2/AC3 tanks, Lazar 3 armored personnel carriers, and NORA B-52 155mm wheeled howitzers. Serbian HMMWV armored vehicles, manufactured in the US. Serbian aviation, drones, and other military equipment.

Props to the serbian bros for doing their best with the limited means available and also walking a very precarious geopolitical tightrope. I do understand they were forced to give up on plans of a mostly russian/belarussian sourced high end military (Buks, S-300, iirc MiG-35), though i am disappointed they haven't bought J-10C instead of the overhyped and overpriced Rafale.
