It's gonna take time but I think India getting it's ass kicked in Pakistan recently is really gonna show the effects in the future.

The west esp US put up with India coz they were hoping to use it against China. They even prevented Pakistan from using it's US jets which would have gave India an unfair advantage. Yet India still got it's ass whooped hard thanks to Chinese weaponry and Pakistan preparation which gave both a lot of clout. And in typical response, instead of accepting responsibility, India and the west started blaming each other which further hurt relations.

We know the west esp the US is very corporate minded and get really angry if you fail to do your task as an employee and can easily get rid of you. India was assigned a task and failed to deliver despite significant investment. The US is just gonna cut bad investments rather than act encouraging and thats why you see the level of respect given to India is suddenly a lot less recently. At the workplace, thats an indirect way of saying that you're being forced out and they're working on replacing you. Hence trying to get someone like Vietnam etc who is seen so far as more competent. Relations can go from 100 to 0 in a very fast timeframe.

Thats probably also why the US is more focused on Iran right now. Any plans to take on China involving India or even Pakistan went up in smoke for the time being. Now they need to find somewhere else and Iran fits the target.

Case in point today. Modi despite being invited to G7 was not given a photo op like last year. This shows the westerner dissatisfaction with India much like a boss is dissatisfied with a underperforming worker.

An Air India flight on the same route as a plane that crashed last week has been cancelled because of 'precautionary checks', the airline said on Tuesday.
the flight was cancelled after being initially delayed by one hour and 50 minutes, Air India's website shows.

A flight from Gatwick to Amritsar, India, set to depart at 8pm BST was also axed.

The cancelled flights were scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which is the same type of aircraft that crashed shortly after take-off at Ahmedabad on June 12.
Local media had reported that AI159 was suspended due to technical issues after arriving from New Delhi.

On Monday, an Air India Express flight from Delhi to Ranchi was diverted back to the capital shortly after takeoff due to a suspected technical issue.

An India flight AI315 from Delhi to Hong Kong on Monday also had to turn back because of what Air India described as 'a technical issue' without giving details.

Hopefully Air India Flight 171 is a wakeup call for the Indian commercial airline industry. But that is still a big if. If any tourist wants to travel between different cities in India, maybe use the Indian Railways for now. And better to avoid Air India for international flights.

China keeps foolishly giving concession to EU to try to keep them neutral in its cold war with US. EU instead keeps grovelling to US to continue to treat them as a vassal and not abandom them. So sad China is so foolish about Europe. They are the worst anti-China force out there, even more than US, cause they actually believe in the fantasy of liberal western dominated order. They are actually ideological. US is more interest oriented.

China should make a policy to actively work to break up EU and deal with individual countries in Europe. that is the only way China can have any influence in Europe. EU is a pure western imperial project.

At the rate the EU is going now, it will fracture itself without outside interference. Why make oneself the boogeyman when they are doing it to themselves?
