then China need forward bases just like USA.. so we should talk with Russia ??
Either that or more likely that as I said before H-20 will be designed with this requirement in mind: Take off from mainland China, refuel once in Chinese controlled first island chain and strike targets in CONUS before returning. IMO carrying strike on far out US assets in the third island chain and CONUS should be a main design requirement and not a "nice to have" feature.

Guys ... take this now as a very clear warning: Next post without any direct relevance to the H-20 or news on it will be deleted and the one sent into vacation for two months! This general discussion on intercontinental strikes, a what-if Sino-Chinese cooperation on any future bomber or the joint basing is irrelevant!

If you want to discuss it, then start a new thread maybe in the strategic section as a "what.if" chat, but here stick to the topic!

I just saw this now. No one found this except for the website

This thing has the wingspan and size to be a manned bomber.

This has double the wingspan, CH-7 has 26m, this is 52m.
CH-7 is strictly ISR, where this could be a bomber or ISR.
The RQ-180 is a strictly ISR platform with a similar aspect ratio to this aircraft while boasting a estimated wingspan of 40m. This could be China's equivalent, with longer endurance and range which could lead to it's larger size.
